Martina McBride 2010 Concert Tour :
The Shine All Night Tour, also sponsored in part by GAC, kicks off November 20th and covers 40 cities across the U.S. through the spring of 2010. Martina McBride Teams with Trace Adkins for Spring Tour :
In this time of making your hard earned dollar go further, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins are offering a two-for-one special. The two country stars will be teaming up for a winter tour that will stretch through 40 different cities. This is a co-headlining tour so both artists will be playing their normal full sets. The “Shine All Night” tour is sponsored by Sunny D and GMC.
McBride released her most recent album “Shine” in March which climbed to the number 1 spot on the Billboard Country album charts. The album, produced by Dann Huff (Carrie Underwood, Bon Jovi), spawned the popular single “Ride.”
Adkins is supporting his 10th Album entitled “X” which was released last fall. His single “Muddy Water” has been making progress on the country singles charts as the record peaked at 7 on the country charts.

The Shine All Night Tour, also sponsored in part by Great American Country (GAC) network, kicks off Nov. 20 and covers 40 cities across the U.S. through the spring of 2010. Both McBride and Adkins will each perform full-length shows.
 The tour will bring together two shining stars, the hot mama with her big, soaring vocals and the tall drink of water with the rich baritone voice. Martina McBride Biography and Info : (Short)
Born and raised in rural Kansas, Martina McBride spent her childhood traveling with her parent’s country band, The Shifters. By the time she was a teenager, McBride had become a full-fledged member of the band. "It was what we did from the time we were little kids,” said McBride, “but even then I knew it was something special-- not something every family got to do together."
 Considering her years spent on the road, it seemed natural that when McBride married sound engineer John McBride in the early 90’s, the small family moved to Nashville to find work in the music business. The couple landed jobs that put them on the road with then-emerging country star, Garth Brooks. When not on the road Martina, looking for a break, took advantage of her bright soprano voice and recorded demo tapes, eventually submitting her own demo to RCA records in 1991.
McBride was just what the label was looking for and was quickly signed to RCA. The Time Has Come hit store shelves in 1992, followed in 1993 by what is considered to be McBride’s most enduring album, The Way That I Am. The album’s single, “Independence Day,” became McBride’s breakout hit.
The Grammy-Award winning “Independence Day” portrays the horrors of domestic violence, and it has proved to be one of McBride’s most lasting contributions to country music. The song was recently voted No. 8 on CMT’s list of 100 Greatest Songs of Country Music.
“Independence Day” also initiated McBride’s decade-long commitment as a spokeswoman for victims of domestic abuse. Her charitable work has resulted in numerous awards, including the Grammy’s prestigious Heroes Award. When asked about using her talents to bring attention to domestic abuse McBride explained: “I feel like it’s important to use this gift God gave me… to do something to make the world a better place.”
 Wild Angels appeared in 1995. The album’s title track gave McBride her first ever number one hit on country music charts. Building on the momentum of that success, 1997’s Evolution was McBride’s crossover pop hit. The double platinum album jettisoned McBride into the highest rank of country music stardom, and solidified her appeal to pop music fans. The album charted on the Top Ten of the country charts, and with the inclusion of the Jim Brickman duet, “Valentine,” found its way onto adult contemporary charts as well. In the weeks that followed, no less than four songs from Evolution found their way into the Top Ten country music charts.
After a Christmas release in 1998, McBride followed with Emotion, in 1999. The album was yet another showcase for McBride’s exceptional vocals. A scaled back, small band record, the album also achieved platinum status. In 2001 McBride’s Greatest Hits was released by RCA, featuring 4 unreleased songs including the signature “Concrete Angel.” Martina followed in 2003, and solidified McBride’s place as the “voice of the everywoman” in country music.
Timeless, McBride’s self-produced collection of classic country tunes appeared late in 2005. “I can’t wait to perform these songs for the true country music fans” McBride explained about the project, “every time I hear this music, it feels like coming home.” ... Source Article ...
